Early Hawkins Hard Rubber Mouthpiece for Bass Clarinet 1.63mm – Zinner

 

This is a Hawkins hard rubber mouthpiece for bass clarinet hand finished on a Zinner blank by Richard Hawkins. The mouthpiece shows some cosmetic wear around the outer body and some standard play wear. Its beak, shank are both in good shape with no major physical wear. The facing profile of the table, tip and side rails is in very good condition as well. 

 

This is a very smooth player with a fast response.

 

The tip opening on this piece measures .064”/1.63mm
