Vintage Buffet Paris R13 A Clarinet in Tremendous Shape - Serial # 162117

Very nice, used Buffet Paris R13 series clarinet in A, serial number 162117. This clarinet has been well maintained. It shows no previous cracks or crack repairs to the grenadilla wood body, and will get a fresh adjustment from our repair shop before shipping.

This clarinet has definitely been well cared for. The body is in great shape, and there is no major finish wear to the original nickel keywork. Pads are all in excellent shape, appearing no more than 2-3 years old. They key material will be replaced during our adjustment, and a precise regulation done, so that it comes to you perfect playing shape. All work will be done by our top clarinet tech, Audrey Denny, and is included in the price.

This clarinet does not have its original bell or barrel, but does come with true Buffet Crampon Paris replacement parts. It has a Buffet bell and 66mm barrel, with an extra Buffet Chadosh 65mm barrel as well. The clarinet ships in a Yamaha double case, with a slot for your Bb. The case features a few storage pockets inside the case and a slot for music on the outside.

This clarinet plays with a sweet, focused sound, with an even timbre throughout its range. Very comfortable blower and it takes your air well. This is a fine instrument for students looking to get their first A, or any pro player needing an A on a budget.
