Ted Klum Yard Bird 6 for Alto Sax – Mint Condition

This is a gorgeous “Yard Bird” 6 for alto saxophone made by Ted Klum. The mouthpiece is in pristine condition and is with the original box as well as the cap and ligature set. 

 

These pieces are constructed out of German ebonite and are crafted by master mouthpiece technician Ted Klum. The Yardbird hard rubber model is made with the same design as Ted's brass Yardbird mouthpiece. As the name Yardbird suggests the creation of these pieces is out of inspiration for Bird.
