This is a nice condition, very straight used Buffet Crampon Paris R13 series clarinet in Bb, serial number 120291. This is a fantastic instrument for advancing players looking to pick up their first grenadilla wood R13 without paying the current “new” pricing. It will ship with a fresh cleaning and overhaul from our shop, all included in the price.

This R13 shows no cracks and no signs of previous crack repair. The wood body is in superb shape top to bottom, as is the original bell and barrel. The nickel keywork shows nominal finish wear on a few touch points, but no previous damages or repairs. Currently in our repair shop, this clarinet is slotted to receive a full professional overhaul, which includes cleaning/oiling, all new pads and material, and adjustment. We'll tighten up the keywork and optimize spring tensions, so that it will feel and play like a new instrument again when you receive it.

Currently playing through some leaks, you can still get a sense of the warmth and color this clarinet has. I expect it to have a nice focus too, once in proper regulation. All work to get it right is included in the price, and I can't wait to play it once we've made it right! Ships in its original case with leather case cover; the case is missing its handle and the cover's zipper pulls are gone (can be replaced), but the case is still protective and latches work well.
