Freshly Repadded Buffet R13 Clarinet in Bb - Serial # 319355

This is a freshly restored Buffet R13 series clarinet in Bb, serial number 319355. This clarinet was just overhauled in our shop by Audrey Denny, our top clarinet tech, and is in perfect playing condition. This is the perfect clarinet for advancing students looking for their first R13 on a budget, or any professional player or hobbyist wanting a fine professional model clarinet without springing for the “new” price.

This clarinet has obviously been well cared for over its life. The original nickel plated keywork showing no major finish wear, and the grenadilla wood body has no cracks and no previous crack repairs (pins). It has all new Valentino Master leather pads throughout with the best tech cork used for adjustment material. Audrey finely adjusted the clarinet so that it is in perfect regulation and feels like a brand new horn.

If you are wanting a sweet player with a warm, focused, full core sound, you will not be disappointed. It plays with just the perfect amount of positive resistance to give you something to push against, and which aids in focusing. Very positive feel under your fingers too, and a nice response in all registers. All in all a solid professional R13. Ships in a good hard case with case cover, as seen in the photos.
