Freshly Cleaned & Repadded Armstrong Wood Bb Clarinet - Serial # 40-45920

This is a freshly restored Armstrong 4012 model Bb clarinet, serial number 40-45920. This is a great “step up” clarinet for players looking for a wood clarinet at a great price. It features a fully wood body (upper and lower joints) with a composite bell and barrel for increased durability. Even better, this clarinet has been fully repadded in our repair shop and ships in tip-top playing condition.

This clarinet was overhauled in our shop by Audrey Denny, our top clarinet tech, with the same care she would show a multi-thousand dollar Buffet R13. It has all new pads and material, and has been precisely adjusted. It feels like a new horn under your fingers, from top to bottom.

This is a fine playing instrument, with a warm, focused tone and easy blowing nature, perfect for younger players still working on their control. The wood body adds a refined level of resonance and it is a real fun instrument to play. Ships in a good hard case with plenty of storage space.
