Buffet Paris R13 Bb Clarinet 1960's, Serial #88027 - Superb Player!

This is very nice Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet made in Paris France, serial number 88027. The clarinet is in beautiful condition and has no history of past crack repair on either of the body joints. The original 66mm barrel and the bell are also in great physical condition. There is a cosmetic wood blemish on the bell. 

 

The R13 was professionally overhauled by Audrey Denny in our shop in 2021 and is still in perfect playing condition. The work included a complete dissemble, cleaning, oiling and precise regulation of all the key work. It now features all new Valentino pads as well as new corks and felts. We will also have Audrey look over the clarinet once more before shipping to ensure it leaves out shop in perfect playing condition. 

 

This clarinet plays with a richly focused sound which is very colorful and centered. It should be noticed the low register of the clarinet is notably exceptional. This would be a great clarinet to pick up if you were looking for a R13 at a much lower price point.
