Buffet Crampon Paris R13 Grenadilla Wood Clarinet - Serial # 180947 – Beautiful Player!

Here is a Buffet R13 clarinet with nickel key work, serial number #180947. This clarinet has recently had an overhaul completed on it by our own ClarinetQuest repair tech, Audrey Denny. It's now ready for sale!

 

The R13 was, still is, and may forever be, their most prolifically manufactured, pro-line clarinet. And with the tone that this one has you will completely understand why its reputation has immortalized it in the clarinet industry. The key-work is rounded and placed perfectly under your fingers, Audrey has painstakingly adjusted the rings to near flat levels when depressed, giving the most comfortable playing experience you can find. Grey felts line the bottoms of select keys to keep them in perfect adjustment and all key-heights have been optimized for intonation. The upper stack has cork-pads for longevity and the lower joint has Valentino pads for a good seal and a positive feel.

 

One blemish does persist on this clarinet, although there are no cracks or history of major repair on the posts. There is a red spot on the back of the upper joint where the finish seems to have rubbed off for some reason. This is just topographical and the clarinet plays just fine.

 

This clarinet is ready for the long haul, college students would be absolutely improving their gear with this deal. A brand new R13 goes for over twice the price so pick this up while it lasts.

 

We will ship this clarinet in perfect playing condition in a hard shell, leather exterior, red interior carrying case. No mouthpiece will be included.
