60s Vintage Selmer Paris Seres 9 Bb Clarinet - Serial # T1487

This is a 1963 vintage Selmer Paris Series 9 clarinet in Bb, serial number T1487. This clarinet was repadded in the last couple years and remains in stellar playing shape. It shows no cracks or past crack repairs, and is a wonderful instrument for clarinet pros and saxophone doublers.

I love the old 60s vintage Selmer clarinets for doublers in particular. This clarinet plays with a very fast, lively response, and takes your air quickly. Not quite as focused as a Buffet, it is very forgiving for saxophone players coming to clarinet, while keeping a warm tone.

This instrument has been well cared for and is in great shape. Only minor finish wear on a few touch points from honest use, and it has never been abused. The grenadilla wood body is in tremendous shape. It comes with original bell and 66mm bell, and is in its original gray zippered case (which looks just like the Selmer sax cases of this era!).
