New Yamaha YCL-221II Student Bb Bass Clarinet

The new Yamaha YCL-221II is the perfect Bb bass clarinet for students. Its two-piece design and compact case make this instrument a very "school bus friendly" choice. The instrument features an ABS resin body makes the clarinet more lightweight and very durable while giving it a warmer sound and excellent response. The neck angle has been redesigned and is now the same as that of the professional model, resulting in a much more comfortable and natural playing position. A new joint system with rubber rings surrounding the cork help prevent air leaks, and ease assembly to prevent keys from binding.
